  • Job Interview update;


    I had both my interviews!


    T.D.Jakes; Not so well. They gave me a spelling test, and if you read my xanga, which you are, then you know that I am like the WORST speller EVER. Plus there were a million people interviewing for the job and everyone else seemed way older and more experienced then me, so yeah I can pretty much guess i didn't get that job...But that's okay...


    Cuz the eye doctor hired me on the spot!!! Nancy's got some competetion now!!! haha


    Plus it's really cool because I know the manager, I used to be a nanny for his kids(which is probably why he hired me on the spot, lol)so I already know him and that he's really nice to work for, etc..so that's a major plus.


    The downside is I have to work every other saturday..but that's better than EVERY saturday..plus they're always closed on sunday, so that's awesome. I can live with that.


    I also will get health insurance and benefits, etc. so that's a blessing, for sure.


    I start on Aug.16th.


    I'm sad I'll have to quit my nanny job though, I really love taking care of brendan, it just wasn't enough hours...so yeah if any of you want a nanny job let me know, he's a really sweet 10 month old baby and the hours are monday-friday from 10am-3pm. Let me know if you're interested.

  • Congrats Aimee! Everything works out in the end. :) Working every other Saturday won't be so bad. At least you're making money! Is this the dad of the two wild girls I remember from 5 years ago?

  • Wow!  Congratulations!  I kind of was thinking the eye clinic might be a neat place for you!  Hope it turns out to be the best job ever!

  • Not a "real life" friend, just a cyber friend!  My other site is Lavender_fields, and my quilt_cats is my other site with mainly family type stuff on it.

  • Yep, married and kids, definitely!  It feels really strange to have them both out of town this weekend.  I don't mention my kids too much on my lavender_fields because that's the one they tend to look at.  But they know I put stuff about them on my quilt_cats. 

  • I do have a passport :) I supposably have to mail that in to have it changed lol... it is crazy!

    I have a new drivers license :) lol... I got it today :)

  • I'm glad you got a job...and health insurance...now, if only someone would hire me...^_^;
