  • Hello all my faithful blog readers, hope you're all having a good Monday so far...my Monday's been swell so far.

    I had a nice, fun-filled, weekend!

    Saturday morning I woke up bright and early, went by starbucks and picked up a blissfull white chocolate peppermint mocha, then met up with Nancy & Dan, Malcolm, Jennifer & Rachel and we all drove up to TN for Lauren & Josh's wedding.

    It was so much fun, and I'm soooo happy for Lauren! They had some really good music in their wedding too, a pretty Josh Groben song and some Third Day and other cool songs, and after the service they went back down the aisle to Toby Mac's "Feeling so Fly" song and they all danced down the aisle to it I thought that was SO cool!! lol

    Here are some pictures from the wedding, thanks to Nancy and Rachel whom I swiped these pics from;

    Nancy, Me, Melanie, Jennifer & Rachel.

    The glowingly happy groom and bride;

    Jennifer and I accidentally wore the exact same colors to the wedding which was funny so we took a picture;

    I love this picture of Nancy and i, depsite how short I look, I really don't mind my shortness.

    There was a beautiful yellow/glowing sunset on the drive home, thankfully Nancy caught a pic of it;

    All in all we had a really great trip! We ended up getting back to Georgia fairly early that night so Malcolm and I decided to go see the movie "August Rush" which I absolutely LOVED, it's on my top 10 movie list now. I'd definitely reccomend seeing it, for sure.

    Sunday I slept in and then went to the 12pm service at church since I'd missed the Saturday service I normally go to cuz we weren' tback from TN yet. After church I went to Melanie's birthday lunch at Gladys Knight's resturant in Atlanta, "Waffles and chicken". It was a very interesting/different resturant, I liked it! After that a bunch of us went back to Mel&Shauns for birthday cake and games which was fun.

    And after that I saw a movie to put on my top WORST movies ever made list, "No Country for old men" which was like really awful..it started off good but went down hill after that and ended horribly.

    What's funny though, is that Malcolm and I both thought it was just called "No Country" when we went to see it and then the real title popped on the screen, no country for old men, and we both looked at each other and burst out laughing..what a title...no country for old men..hahaha...we didn't really know what it was about either before seeing it, which was a first for me cuz normally I research movies and read reviews and all before seeing one but we both wanted to see a movie but didn't know what to see and were already at the theater so we just picked a random movie for the fun of it - yeah, learned our lesson...I'll definitely stick to my methed of reviewing movies BEFORE seeing them, lol. It was still fun though.

    Oh and you all should be REALLY proud of me today..cuz this morning I had the option of

    A) Sleeping in then going to eat brunch at IHOP with my mom and sis

    B) Waking up early and going to the gym

    Although I was INCREDIBLY tempted to choose option A, I chose B. So be proud of me!

    After going to the gym I went grocery shopping which I found out is a good combo to do because I bought much healthier foods after going to the gym, lol, so I'm gonna do that from now on. The gym definitely inspired me to buy healthier foods! So that's a good little trick there.

    Alright I've rambled on long enough today so I'll stop typing before you strain your eyes reading this insanely long blog entry.

    Hope you're having a good week so far, peace out!
