    What if it's a boy? Jacob have I loved. (that's always been my favorite name, ever since I saw the movie jacob have I loved when I was little..even though I can't remember the movie at all I've always loved the name)


    Is there anything you're obsessed with? I'm not really obsessed with anything but I do get on-line way too much. Once I fasted the internet for 40 days though just to proove I could, which I did. So I CAN give it up if I needed to..which I don't..so here I sit, filling out this survey on-line. ha.


    I like Ebay. Your mom likes ebay! Actually I do too, that's where I bought my 80G Ipod. 20,000 songs, baby!!!

I am ashamed to admit I am wearing one right now! :-p Only wear them to work though, cuz we're not allowed to wear tshirts, but when it's 90 degrees outside I don't want to wear a long sleeved shirt so the short sleeved polo's the closest thing to a tshirt I can get. I'd never wear a polo aside from work though, I'm a jeans and tshirt gal all the way.

     Brand New sucks. I actually haven't really heard them but I have friends with good taste in music that like them so I doubt they suck..

    Have you ever been to the hospital? To visit people lots of times but myself only once when I was 3 years old and fell off the merry go round & had to get sitches on my knee.

  • Happy Thursday, blog'land! I like thursdays because that means the next day is FRIDAY which is the WEEKEND!!! Yaaay!!

    Don't get me wrong, I completely LOVE both my jobs...but I also really love sleep and free time, both of which I don't get enough of during the week, working 2 jobs = 65 hours of work monday through friday. Thank God I have the weekends off!

    I'm greatly looking forward to sleeping in on saturday! *sighs blissfully*

    Brendan, the 18 month old baby that I watch for 5 hours a day monday through friday, he did 3 of the cutest/funniest things today that I just have to share with you...

    First one, every day I take Brendan for an hour long walk in his stroller and we pass this house that has a boat parked in the driveway..today when we past it I started singing "row row row your boat" and then Brendan started singing "Row row row boat, row row row boat" and it was the first time he's ever sang anything!!! It was sooo adorable!!! I got him to sing it for his mom later and she was so excited she called his dad and had brendan sing to his dad over the phone, it was the cutest thing ever! So yes, I officially gave my first voice lesson today! haha

    2ndly, whenever brendan gets an "owwy"(bruise, bump, scrape, etc)he of course always wants me to kiss it. Well today it was REALLY funny cuz we were sitting playing in the floor and all the sudden Brendan stared at me with this funny look on his face and then he grabbed my face with his hands and said "Owwy!!" and kissed my chin, lol, apparently he had noticed I have a spot of acne on my chin and thought it was a boo boo and kissed it, it was the funniest thing EVER! I laughed so hard. lol.

    And then, when I was about to leave I changed clothes because I always do that before I head to the radio station from his house, but I always give him a hug before I leave...so I went to hug him after I'd changed and he pointed to my shirt and said shirt..pretty..pretty amy, amy pretty...aww..that totally made my day. he's such a cutie!

  • G'day all my faithful blog readers!

    Hope you're all having a good monday so far, and I hope you had a great weekend too!!

    My weekend went VERY well. My band played at the coffee depot saturday night and we had a blast!! We had a new drummer and flute player that played with us for the first time and they sounded great, plus we had a bunch of friends and family come out to see us, which was VERY nice!! Also we had our first professional sound guy,who made us sound AMAZING(Thanks Danny!!)which was a major plus. We also played a couple of new song's we'd written which people seemed to like alot so that was awesome as well.

    Yesterday I saw Pirates 3 which I really liked, although I wish I'd seen the first 2 again before seeing the 3rd. I think I like the 3rd better than the 2nd and the 1st better than the 3rd, but I'll need to watch all 3 again before I can decide.

    Nancy's birthday party was last night which was alot of fun, I love all my friends so much!!

    I'm really wanting to go see the band Travis in concert on Sunday, July 29th at the Tabernacle in Atlanta but need someone to go with me...anyone interested?

    Right now I'm depressed about something so stupid that it makes me even more depressed because I'm depressed over something so stupid!!! The human emotional roller coaster...gotta love it. Or not. :-/

    Good evening, all of my faithful readers! I hope all my homies are doing well.

    This past weekend I had a 5 day weekend, it was awesome! I had thursday and friday off both my jobs because my sister Samantha got married and thursday was the rehersel and friday was the wedding.

    I was a bridesmaid and I also sang during the ceremony(I sang "God blessed the broken road")I was really nervous about singing because I had a sinus infection plus I was afraid I would cry because of my sister get married, but I made it through the song, barely, but made it. lol. I thought I sounded horrible and scratchy but everyone else said I sounded fine and they couldn't tell I was sick, just that I was about to cry. lol. It went well though, the wedding was beautiful..I'll post the pictures as soon as I get them. The reception was really funny too, I actually danced, which was really fun..and funny. lol.

    I'm so happy for my sister!! She's marrying a really great guy, too..He's perfect for her! It's really funny cuz she joined eharmony/equally  yoked/match.com etc and never found a guy on-line, she ended up marrying her neighbor that lives across the street from her. How funny is that?

    I wonder what my love story will be..*sighs dreamily*

    I also pet sit for Malcolm, Dan and Nancy this weekend. I watched 3 chinchillas and a puppy! Quite a handful! I had fun though..I miss having the pets around now that they're gone..*sniff sniff*

    I'm really excited because I've lost 20 pounds since January! I've been doing a combo of slim fast/weight watchers and exercise. I feel so much more energetic ! I still have alot to lose but I'm so happy I got 20lbs off! I had to buy new clothes, which was awesomely fun of course. Yaaay!!!

  • Thanks for all the encouragement, y'all made me feel MUCH better.

    I really shouldn't have been so hard on myself, because the co-worker that was teasing me teases EVERYONE and I also found out I'm not the first person he has video taped.(I found out he video taped my friend melanie many times when she worked here!)

    My boss came up with a plan for me to get sweet revenge though, and I can't wait! I can't tell u what it is because I'm writing this at work so it's possible for this post to be read by co-workers so I wouldn't want him to find out. But I'll tell you about it afterwords. I can't wait!

    *evil giggle* mwhahahahahaha!!! ****ROOOOOAAAAARRRR****!!!

    And on a brighter note, share time(fund raising)came to an end tonight!! So no more me having to ask people for money every day till October! Yesss!!!

    Now back to my normal schedule which I love.

    I think I'm going to start posting more on xanga...I used to not at work cuz I was afraid my co-workers would read it, but I'm over that fear...I don't really care if they read it now or not, I have nothing to hide. My life is an open book for anyone to read. lol

  • Yesterday one of my co-workers at the radio station kept teasing me all day about how he thinks I say "bye" funny when I hang up on people after talking on the phone and he said he was going to record me sometime. (he says I say it really airy/raspy sounding)

    Well, today, not only did he record me with out my knowing it, HE VIDEO TAPED ME!!! For 30 minutes. And I didn't have a clue...till I spotted the video camera in the corner of the room and then I totally flipped out and ran out of the room.

    Then I demanded to watch the video which of course I wish I hadn't, OH MY GOSH!!! I acted like I was drunk or high or a surfer chick or something, and when I laugh I look retarded!!! I wanted to slap myself after watching that video!

    I asked my manager if there's some kind of company policy against video taping co-workers with out their knowledge but he just laughed and said "nope, sorry!". :-p :-p :-p

    Gosh after watching that video of myself there is no doubt in my mind why I'm still single..lol.

    I really HATE myself right now... grrr.

  • Today while I was babysitting Brendan, (he's 18 months old now and just starting to put two words together at a time)he put his hand on my shoulder and looked up at me with the sweetest look on his face and said "Amy pretty, pretty Amy.." awww!!! That was the cutest thing ever and totally made my day.
