  • Most of you probably already know I'm in a band(and for those of you that didn't know, now you know..haha)anyway, our bands microphones got stolen and we had to buy new cheap ones from KMART(That totally sound HORRIBLE)
     
     and anyway, Leigh Nash(lead singer of sixpence none the richer)is having a karoke contest on this website and if you vote for me and I win then I win a  REALLLLLLY nice new mic...so PLEASE go there and give me 5 stars...you can either vote for hard candy christmas OR o holy night, they're both entered in the contest.

  • Insomnia strikes again

    It's 3 am and I'm still awake. Insomnia strikes again...the REALLY ugly thing, is that I have to get up at 8:40am(in 5 hours and 40 minutes) and then i have to work from 10am to midnight. Pray that God gives me supernatural strength and energy and that i don't have a car wreck or say/do anything stupid at work... :-p

    Haiku, I'm sorry

    For not writing more of you

    Sad;

    I am very sad

    I've no chocolate pretzils

    I ate them all up!

    It's very cold out

    But I see no snow out there

  • Mmmmhhhhmmmm....

    My Mom just totally made my night by bringing a peppermint mocha to me at work...if you like york pepperment patties you should try starbucks peppermint mochas, they taste just like a liquid york peppermint patty! YUUUUMMMMMMM!!!

    Thanks all of you that prayed for my mom and sister, they're both doing alot better! Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

    I'm really lovin working here at the radio station...I get to listen to music for 8 hours and pray and encourage people. I can totally imagine working here forever and being completely content. THANK YOU JESUS!!!

  • Prayer

    Y'all please be praying for my family, I really feel like we're being attacked by satan right now. My sister Meghan and my Mom have both been struggling alot physically, mentally spirtually and emotionally and then to make matters worse they were both in a car wreck last night, and thank God neither of them were seriouslly hurt although my mom was sore today and had to go to the doctor..but my mom's car was pretty badly damaged.

    And then to top that off, this morning my sister MEGHAN had a wreck and totaled her car. So my mom and sister are both carless right now. I'm just thanking God neither of them were hurt or even worse, killed!

    But now they're both feeling even worse then they already were physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally so please keep them in your prayers and pray that God gives me the right words of encouragement to speak to them.

  • Yay for weekends!!! (especially when you work 65 hour work weeks!) Last night was my work christmas party for the radio station and it was lotsa fun(except for the part where I had to lead the christmas carol singing and completely forgot all of the 2nd/3rd verses to just about every christmas song...I remember the first verse and chorus but after that I drew a blank, every time..in front of 50 people, that's pretty embarassing!!!) I had fun though, it was more like a family re-union rather then a work christmas party, which was a first...I loved that.
     
    I still really love working there as well, I actually ENJOY going to work instead  of dreading it, which is a major plus.
     
    Today was Mel's birthday lunch at the cheese cake factory,(HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELANIE!!!) which I'd never been to and is absolutely FAB by the way. It was a blast!
     
    Now I've just ordered pizza and am going to watch a movie with my mom and sis.
     
    Hope all my fella xanga homies are doing well...Show me some lovin by leaving some comments!

  • My thanksgiving was good, hope y'alls was too! I went over to Alabama to visit my grandma and 3 uncles/aunt. (who are all origianally from texas, just so you know)I hadn't seen them in a while so that was nice to catch up with them. Then later on the weekend I went over to my aunt's house in dallas(georgia)and spent time with that side of the family.

    I'm looking forward to christmas, I'm one of those people that listens to christmas music all year long. It gives me the warm fuzzies!

    Work is going good at the radio station... I'm now working there monday through friday from 4pm-midnight and you can listen to me on-line from 5pm-midnight at www.ibn.org there's a web cam there that snaps my picture every 15 seconds, scary, huh?

    And for those of you locally in Georgia you can listen on the radio at 91.7fm

    Nannying has been hard this week cuz the baby's sick so he cries alot, which makes me sad.

    So yeah between nannying and DJ'ing I'm working from 10am-midnight monday through friday...whew.

    Speaking of which, it's time to get on the air, so I'll ttyl!

  • I got my hairz did today.
    My hair was getting way too many split ends and plus the bottom 3 inches lookied really ashy because it'd been dyed so many times, so I decided to go get the dead ends chopped off and get some highlights too before thanksgiving.
     
     
    I like my hair shoulder length, not too long that it takes forever to dry but long enough that I
    can still put it up in different styles if i want to

    Close up of my highlights - it looks like i got low lights too but I didn't, it was just that much darker before.
