Sooo I had a dream my hair was blonde again and it looked really pretty in the dream, so I decided to give into the temptation and go blonde for christmas/new years (it's my christmas present to myself! LOL) So what do y'all think, do you like it? I also got a good bit cut off as well, my hair's around shoulder length now.

*singing* Christmas time is herrrreee...Happiness and cheeeeerrr....fun for allllll that children call their favorite time of yeeeear.

I love Christmas time. I'm one of those people that could listen to Xmas music all year long! It just gives me the warm fuzzies inside.
Mom says when I was little and we'd drive by a house with christmas lights outside I'd get all excited and yell "it's christmas, it's christmas!" I don't think I've ever lost that feeling of excitment. In fact, sometimes, I still yell "It's christmas, it's christmas" whenever I see christmas lights.
I love that it's a time of year that EVERYONE, even those that may not believe(yet)are reminded of Jesus birth. That's something that we should try and remind ourself all year long. Jesus, God's son, came to earth, born in a MANGER, the son of God, slept in the hey next to animals. And then he grew up and died on the cross for OUR sins, so that we could have the chance to spend ETERNITY with Him in heaven.
That's the greatist gift of all, and one that we should thank Him for all year long. Not just at christmas time. -
Hello all my faithful blog readers, hope you're all having a good Monday so far...my Monday's been swell so far.
I had a nice, fun-filled, weekend!
Saturday morning I woke up bright and early, went by starbucks and picked up a blissfull white chocolate peppermint mocha, then met up with Nancy & Dan, Malcolm, Jennifer & Rachel and we all drove up to TN for Lauren & Josh's wedding.
It was so much fun, and I'm soooo happy for Lauren! They had some really good music in their wedding too, a pretty Josh Groben song and some Third Day and other cool songs, and after the service they went back down the aisle to Toby Mac's "Feeling so Fly" song and they all danced down the aisle to it I thought that was SO cool!! lol

Here are some pictures from the wedding, thanks to Nancy and Rachel whom I swiped these pics from;
Nancy, Me, Melanie, Jennifer & Rachel.
The glowingly happy groom and bride;
Jennifer and I accidentally wore the exact same colors to the wedding which was funny so we took a picture;
I love this picture of Nancy and i, depsite how short I look, I really don't mind my shortness.
There was a beautiful yellow/glowing sunset on the drive home, thankfully Nancy caught a pic of it;
All in all we had a really great trip! We ended up getting back to Georgia fairly early that night so Malcolm and I decided to go see the movie "August Rush" which I absolutely LOVED, it's on my top 10 movie list now. I'd definitely reccomend seeing it, for sure.
Sunday I slept in and then went to the 12pm service at church since I'd missed the Saturday service I normally go to cuz we weren' tback from TN yet. After church I went to Melanie's birthday lunch at Gladys Knight's resturant in Atlanta, "Waffles and chicken". It was a very interesting/different resturant, I liked it! After that a bunch of us went back to Mel&Shauns for birthday cake and games which was fun.
And after that I saw a movie to put on my top WORST movies ever made list, "No Country for old men" which was like really awful..it started off good but went down hill after that and ended horribly.
What's funny though, is that Malcolm and I both thought it was just called "No Country" when we went to see it and then the real title popped on the screen, no country for old men, and we both looked at each other and burst out laughing..what a title...no country for old men..hahaha...we didn't really know what it was about either before seeing it, which was a first for me cuz normally I research movies and read reviews and all before seeing one but we both wanted to see a movie but didn't know what to see and were already at the theater so we just picked a random movie for the fun of it - yeah, learned our lesson...I'll definitely stick to my methed of reviewing movies BEFORE seeing them, lol.
It was still fun though.Oh and you all should be REALLY proud of me today..cuz this morning I had the option of
A) Sleeping in then going to eat brunch at IHOP with my mom and sis
B) Waking up early and going to the gym
Although I was INCREDIBLY tempted to choose option A, I chose B.
So be proud of me!After going to the gym I went grocery shopping which I found out is a good combo to do because I bought much healthier foods after going to the gym, lol, so I'm gonna do that from now on. The gym definitely inspired me to buy healthier foods! So that's a good little trick there.
Alright I've rambled on long enough today so I'll stop typing before you strain your eyes reading this insanely long blog entry.

Hope you're having a good week so far, peace out!

Please pray for my younger sister Meghan. She's had alot of health problems lately and she's been blacking out/fainting alot lately and the doctors can't figure out why. And to top things off, she was fired today(for asking off from work so much because of being out sick)
There's also some other things she's going through(mentally and emotional)that I won't mention, all in all she's just really going through a hard time right now so please keep her in your prayers.

I officially have the NICEST boss EVER. He asked me to come in 10 minutes early today so I could cover for a guy on air, and when I got here he thanked me for coming in early and told me I could leave 2 hours early. Come in 10 minutes early...leave 2 HOURS early...no complaints, here!
Plus I have the next 5 nights off from work at the radio station for thanksgiving holidays! I'm babysitting tomorrow from 10am-3pm but then I'll be off work till Monday! Yesss!!!

I worked out again today, it felt SO good! Makes me wish I'd never stopped, for real. It helps so much having my sister work there, too..She actually gets off work right about the time I go to work out and she works out then too so it was fun to work out together today..she's a fitness trainer so she's very motivating to work out with! That helps alot.
Man it's SO hard to eat right working at the radio station though, people are always bringing in donuts and pizza and cookies and stuff and giving them to us and it's sooo hard to say no! But I can proudly say that I haven't given in to the temptation today and have resisted the box of donuts that are tempting me in the kitchen. I ate grapes instead.
However, I must confess that my mom made pumpkin pie and I ate 2 slices last night.
:-p

Today I joined Gold's Gym(goooo me!)which will be really good for me, cuz my older sister Amanda works there so she can hold me accountable and yell at me if I don't go! lol! I actually enjoy working out though, it was just hard to find the time before when I worked 65 hours a week, but now that I'm down to 40 hours of work each week I can finelly have time to go to the gym and whip my booty into shape!
Funny note, my gym card number is 7777. I just thought that was interesting.
