Today's the first day of our "fall share" at the radio station(Fundraising). I hate asking for money on the air..but when you're a non-profit/noncommercial radio station/ministry, you gotta ask. So yeaah..if any of you are feeling generous and would like to help support a good Christian Ministry, you can log onto www.ibn.org and make a donation on our website. It would make me especially happy if you gave between the hours of 9pm-Midnight EST. because then I'd get credit for it. hehe.
So I'm "OFFICIALLY" joining weight watchers on Thursday. I've been doing it on my own but not like going to meetings and stuff..and I lost 26 pounds, but then I stopped losing weight even though I'd been doing the same thing I did to lose the 26 pounds so I got frustrated and said "to heck with this" and then started eating a bunch of junk and gained 10 pounds back. After that I was like "there's no way I'm allowing myself to gain any more of the weight I lose back, In fact, I want to lose MORE weight not gain any back..." so I decided maybe going to the actual weight watcher meetings and joining officially might help me and motivate me more. So yeah, we'll see how that goes.
I'm also going to start working out more now too now that my nanny job ended and I actually have time to work out, I've been checking out different gyms in cartersville trying to decide which I like best. I'm excited about that, cuz I actually like to work out and I know it'll help me ALOT.

I'm OFFICIALLY all moved out/in!!! (Thanks to Derek for helping me move the last of my things on saturday!)
I had a CRAZY busy weekend..whew...
Worked till midnight friday night...
Saturday morning packed up the last of my things at the apartment, cleaned it up some then had band practice...
Saturday night was my mom's 60th birthday party...
Sunday my band played at an arts and crafts festival(twice!)then I hung out and had dinner with friends then watched a movie at Dan and Nancy's which was fun.
I'm pretty zonked out now. Working till midnight..get off in... 6 minutes. Sleep is calling my name...

Sunday, September 16th, Sweet the Sound will return to play again at the Rose Lawn Annual Arts Festival in Cartersville!
We'll be playing twice through out the day, two 30 minute sets. One at 1pm, and one at 4:30pm.
The annual arts festival, held on the grounds at Rose Lawn, features the works of artists from across the Southeast. Fine art and Heritage Craft exhibits include oils, watercolors, and pastels, sculptures in wood, brass, and glass, and many other unique hand-crafted items.
The American Association of University Women will hold their annual Book Sale during the festival, and the house will be open for guided tours.

I-75 Exit 288, go west 2.5 miles into downtown Cartersville. Cross railroad, at second traffic light turn right onto Bartow St. then at 4-way stop turn left onto Cherokee Ave. Turn left on Fite Street to enter Rose Lawn Parking on left.

Thanks to all of you that helped me out I got most of my things moved last saturday! I just have about one car load of things left to move that I'll probly move myself sometime between now and saturday...then I'll be 100% all moved in, yay!
Now I just have to figure out where I'm going to put all my stuff when I unpack(my room is about 50% smaller..)I got rid of alot before I moved but I think I'm going to need to get rid of even more..oh well, it's good to get down to the bare essentials...less clutter in life is always a good thing.
I've been given a new duty at work at the radio station, I now have to record new music into the computer and edit it..basically we put all the songs we play into our computer system and we have to edit them sound wise to make sure there at the same sound level and some aren't too loud or too low. It's pretty easy to do, just time consuming because you have to listen to each song all the way through as you enter it and then edit it as needed. So yeah, I will no longer be taking breaks whenever pastor's messages come on at work, I'll actually be working! haha, which is a good thing, makes the time go by faster.
Speaking of which, time to get back to work and do the weather report!

So...this saturday at 11am I'm moving from my apartment in Kennesaw to my mom's house in Cartersville(30 minutes north of Kennesaw) if anyone would like to help me move I would GREATLY appreciate it..I don't have a whole lot of things(Just the stuff in my bedroom and a tv and entertainment center) but the more people that help the less time it'll take...
I'll buy pizza for anyone that helps!!! (and give you a hug! If you want one, that is! haha)
PS. I'm officially a redhead again! This time I went more strawberry blonde, so it won't matter if it fades. I'm actually attempting to go back to my natural color, which is dark dirty blonde, but you can't go from black hair to dirty blonde in one step, when you take out the black it turns bright orange, lol. So i just tamed down the orange a bit with some dirty blonde = strawberry blonde.
