As much as I'd love to go to the opening night of the new Harry Potter movie this wednesday, ALAS, I have to work...sooo..I'm going to the matinee on saturday, 2:50pm at AMC Barret in Kennesaw. Anyone care to join me?!

It's funny how things never seem to go the way I plan them...but hey God always has better plans than we do so we just have to trust Him when things don't go exactly the way WE plan them.

I just found out that my nanny job is ending in Aug. I knew that it would eventually end, but just didn't expect it to end so soon.(his mom was offered a new job which will change the hours they need someone for brendan and the hours don't fit with my radio station job hours)

 I will miss Brendan, he's a really great kid.

Thankfully I DO still have my job at the radio station which pays my bills, the nanny job was just extra money, which was nice while it lasted.

Also, I found out from Amanda(my roommate)that our lease actually isn't up till September 16th, which means I don't have to move out the end of July like I thought I did, which is nice because now I have more time to find a place and figure out my new budget/what I can afford, etc, so that's nice, takes alot of pressure off my shoulders...don't have to move till September. Whew.

Hope you all had a good 4th of July holiday and that you had lotsa fun!

I had a good one..despite having to wake up earlier than I'd planned, haha...

I looked at 3 basement apartments, and really liked 2 out of 3...but now I'm having 2nd thoughts about the whole basement apartment thing...because I like to have friends over alot and I feel like if I lived in someone's basement that I'd have to be quiet all the time and worry about disturbing them when I have friends over, etc...

But at the same time you have to worry about that same thing in an apartment complex.

I really wish I could afford to rent my own townhouse, that'd be pretty sweet... hmm.. I'll have to figure out my budget and see what's available.

I just want to be able to have friends over whenever I want and not have to worry about disturbing the people above or below me, ya know? We'll see..thanks again for the prayers, all of you that have prayed!

So yeah after looking at the apartments yesterday I took my mom and younger sis out for brunch at IHOP and then to see the Nancy Drew movie, which was really cute(I read Nancy Drew books growing up so I just had to see the movie! It was actually better than the previews made it look..)

After that I came back to my apartment, took a nap, then headed over to Kat's house for a 4th of july cook out and to see fireworks at the Marietta Square which was lotsa fun!(thanks for inviting me, Kat!!)

Now it's back to the daily work grind...it's weird cuz it feels like a monday, but it's not..which is nice, that it's not. haha. tomorrow' pay day, yesss!!

Uhmm yeah so I think that's about all i have to say right now, yep. Hope y'all are doing well!

I dyed my hair again!(surprise surprise, ha!) Dark red. Whaddaya think?! I like it, I think I'll keep it this color for a while.

I found out that I don't have to babysit Wednesday through Sunday of this week because Brendan's grandma's getting married(she's elderly and getting married, how awesome is that?! GO GRANNY!!!)so his parents are taking of work which = ME off from babysitting...which is such a blessing because I can sleep in annnnd pack and get ready to move every day before going into the radio station!

I also found out that the apartment complex where Amanda and I live will let us extend our lease month by month if we need to, which is a major relief because now I don't have to stress about being out by the last day in July..we can basically stay as long as we want to, just letting them know each month.(it costs $100 bucks extra but it's all good if it means we don't have to move twice!)

I have 3 apartment possibilities though, yay! They're all 3 basement apartments...

One of which the owner is a pastor and goes to church with a couple of my friends, another which is a christian family which I randomly found on craigslist(how awesome is that, a random family I found in the paper happened to be christians too?!? God is awesome!!!) 

The other is the basement of a house in acworth that my family actually lived in when I was 17! We lived in the main part of the house then but I remembered there being a basement apartment there and decided on a whim to just drive up and knock on the door of whoever lives there and ask if the apartment happened to be available..so i did...and it IS available!! What are the odds?!

The owner is also the SAME guy that owned it when my parents rented the main house and he remembered me and said he knew he could trust me if he rented it to me, etc..so that was really exciting!! Now I have 3 options...just gotta pray about it and decide which is the best! Two of them are in Acworth and one is in Woodstock, but it's the part of Woodstock that's right on the line of Acworth(close to where Derek lives, for those of you that know where that is, lol)so yeah, it's pretty exciting!

I'm going to look at the craiglist/christian family's apartment tomorrow morning at 9:30am. Not so excited about the waking up early on a holiday but excited about the reason WHY i'm waking up, lol.. so yeah..

And then right after that I'm going to look at the Pastor families apartment.

Pray God gives me wisdom and direction in my choices of city and location of where I should live.

My mom has also still offered for me to move in with her for $200.00 a month on the River in Cartersville and Dan and Nancy offered to rent me a room as well so what with those offers and these 3 basement apartments I found my life is full of options right now...

Decisions, decisions! LIFECHANGING decisions. Pray for me!! lol

I haven't a clue what I'm doing tomorrow night for the 4th of July so if you're doing something fun let me know what it is and I might join you! haha

I found out the carriage house was already rented, just as I suspected.. but on the bright side I found out that the main house next to the carriage house has also been made into several apartments and one of them is available so I'm going to look at it on saturday..so we'll see how that goes.

Thanks for all of you that prayed!! Please continue to pray that the Lord will guide me to the exact city and place that HE wants me to live.

If you read this tuesday night or wednesday morning before 10am, PRAY!!! I'm going to be calling about an apartment I saw an ad for tonight and I'm praying that it is still available, it sounds like my dream apartment...so PRAY PRAY PRAY that it's still available and that it really is as good as it sounds! I'll be calling tomrorow(wednesday) around 9:45am.

I've been looking for a place to live cuz Amanda and my lease is up on our apartment Aug 1st and we're moving because she might be transferring schools/moving out of state, and I'd been looking at apartments but unfortionately the only ones I can afford to live in by myself are in the ghetto, (I've decided to move in to a place by myself and not with a room mate for a number of reasons)so I'd pretty much narrowed it down to either moving back in with my mom for a couple years till I get my car paid off and have 300 extra bucks a month to put towards rent/nicer apartment/not living in the ghetto either that or finding a basement/garage apartment/in law suite in my price range to rent now.

I hadn't had much luck till I stumbled across an ad tonight for an apartment in a CARRIAGE HOUSE in Marietta, ONE BLOCK from the Marietta Square, AND IT HAS A POOL!!! It's like my DREAM place and is in my exact price range..I'm just praying it isn't already taken..it was posted on sunday and I'm calling tomorrow(wednesday)morning,so that's the only thing I'm afraid of, that it's so good it will have been snatched up fast.

I know God is in control and that He has a plan for me though, and I know I'll be content wherever it is I end up living. (Dan and Nancy have offered to rent me a room in their townhouse if need be and my mom offered as well and she lives in a neat house on a river now so it's not all that bad)I know God's in control and has a plan...I guess lately I've just been wanting to get a plan because time is ticking, I have to move the last weekend in July...

Hope you all had a good weekend, and that your monday's going okay so far.

I had a great weekend & birthday.

Saturday I slept in then met my dad and sister for lunch at carrabas(yumm!!!)then my dad and I looked at an apartment I was thinking about moving to in Acworth but it was totally ghetto(scary!!)so I decided against it and am still on the look out.

After that my sister Meghan and I went to look at my dad's apartment he's been living in the past year. It was SO him, all decorated with books/boats/beach stuff.

After that I did some shopping then took a nap then went to church and hung out with friends afterwords which was fun as always!

We saw "Evan Almighty" which was REALLY funny and actually more clean then "Bruce Almighty"...I liked it alot!

On sunday I slept in then went shopping then to meet my mom/sisters/brother in law/nephew for lunch at some asian place on barret parkway I can't remember the name of...it was good, though.

Then I went shopping again(got a new guitar purse, it's sweeeeeeeeet!) then sunday night my friends Melanie and Shaun had a cook out for me at their apartment and lots of friends showed up which was awesome, I had a great time!! Thanks to all of you that came out and celebrated with me, it was really great seeing you all and you made my birthday so much brighter!

I got some really sweet presents, too.

My dad gave me some cool cash

Mom gave me bethany dillion's cd and some honeysuckle lotion, some christian book marks/stickers

Meghan gave me some cool christian fiction books

Samantha&Scott gave me Travis'new CD the man with no name which is currently my favorite cd at the moment. They also gave me some awesome bath&bodyworks stuff.

Amanda, Clark&Daniel gave me a tribute to John Lennon CD which has a bunch of great musicians like Jack Johnson, etc. and they also gave me some great smelling lotion/glitter stuff.

Amanda, Mikey& Cory gave me Keane's new CD(which I'm very keane on, hehehe)and a really cute irish looking silver clover necklace(and it was really funny cuz I asked Amanda, my room mate, if I could borrow one of her necklaces to wear to my party and she started laughing and I was like "What, are you giving me a necklace for my birthday" and she laughed and said yes and gave it to me..haha, perfect timing!

Melanie Cain gave me a cute campbells soup purse which is very vintage looking & adorable!

Jennifer gave me a gift certificate to starbucks(oooh starbucks I love yoooou)

Malcolm gave me some monnneeeeey(yesss...)

Kat&Mike gave me some really fun games, mexican dominos and 20 guestions music

Jeanie& Derek gave me Bridge to Terabithia on DVD which I'm really looking forward to watching(I haven't seen it yet but really want to!!!)

Nancy's putting together a starry night puzzle for me to add to my starry night collection. (when I move into my own place I'm going to have something starry night'ish in every room!! haha)

All in all I had a great weekend!!

I think I'm going to try and do something fun tonight when I get off work at midnight..(no, midnight's NOT too late to hang out, it's friday night!!)Cinderella's carraige may have turned into a pumpkin at midnight, but my pumpkin turns into a carraige at midnight! haha! So yeah give me a call on my cell if you wanna hang at 12:00'sharp!

Tomorrow my dad is taking Meghan and I to lunch for our birthday and then we're going to Atlanta to see his apartment where he's been living the past year. This is the first time we've seen it.

Then later is church and hanging out with friends, yaaay!

And sunday is my birthday!!! I'm having lunch with my family and then hanging out with my friends later on at Mel & Shaun's apartment where they're having a cook out for me, if you wanna come, let me know! (But I won't be on-line again this weekend after midnight tonight so CALL ME!)

I love both my jobs so much, I'm so blessed to have not only one but TWO jobs that I absolutely adore. It's so fun getting to play with a baby all day and be silly and make him laugh and then come into the radio station and get paid to listen to music and do the weather reports, artist bios, devotionals once an hour, pray and encourage people, etc...I really love it alot. I thank the Lord every day for blessing me with both these jobs.

Now I just have to figure out where I'm going to move next month when amanda and my lease is up the end of july...should i move to.....kennesaw? cartersville? acworth? marietta? so many options....so many choices.

I hope you all had a good weekend, and that monday didn't torture you too terribly much.

My weekend was good...went by extremely too fast, but it was good.

I worked friday night and then slept in very late on saturday, got some arends and chores done, then went to small group where I lead worship for the first time there which was alot of fun!! I've really missed leading worship reguarally so it's nice to be doing that again. When I'm not, I feel like something's missing, like I'm not doing something I should be...and then I feel a great peace when I AM leading worship, like I'm doing something God wants me too..which is a really awesome feeling.

After small group I hung with friends then went to church that night(I've started going to church on saturday nights which is great cuz I get to sleep in sunday mornings!)and then after church had dinner with friends and then went over to Stefan's house with Malcolm and the 3 of us watched Napoleon Dynamite, which I hadn't seen in too long..such a funny movie!! (can you bring me my chapstick? My lips hurt real bad!) and it was even funnier watching with two guys who aren't american(Stefan's african and Malcolm's irish)somehow it was even funnier watching it with them and hearing their funny comments to the movie.

Sunday I slept in again(aaah, sleep, how I love it and don't get enough of it during the week)then took my dad out to lunch at mellow mushroom. I hardly ever get to see him anymore since he moved to Atlanta so it was nice to see him. I'll get to see him again next weekend cuz he's taking Meghan and I out to lunch for our birthday.

Yep, this sunday I'll be the big 26! Man, it seems like yesterday I was 16 and here it is, 10 years later! I sure don't feel as old as I am. lol. I guess I don't look it either, cuz when Lisa was doing my hair for my sister's wedding at the salon some lady asked me if I was getting my hair done for prom! haha that totally made my day!

I'm trying to think of something fun to do sunday night for my birthday...I never really had much fun on my birthday as a kid because we moved around so much there were birthday's I had where I'd just moved somewhere and didn't have any friends to have a party with, so that was sad. So I've decided to make up for that I'm going to do something really fun every year from now on with all my friends I've been blessed with now. Any ideas of something fun to do?(Note; I hate bowling, golf and swimming in front of people)

After lunch with my dad on sunday I came home and did some more laundry(I swear laundry is the most time consuming chore ever, it's so annoying!!! If only there was some kind of speed washer/dryer that could wash and dry all my clothes in one minute, that'd be beyound amazing. After laundry I took a quick nap then Nancy picked me up and we went shopping where I got one shirt for work and 2 cute purses because all my purses broke(yeah, weird,i do..I guess I'm just really hard on my purses, I just put too much crap in them and they don't hold up, lol)the purses I got are really cute though, one has daisy's on it(which are my fave flower)and the other a guitar(swwwwweeeeeeeeeet)

After shopping Nancy, Dan and I had dinner at rafferty's(they have the BEST salads there, yummmm!!!)then we hung out at mel&shaun's apartment with them and Malcolm and watched a funny jim carey movie about him being a pet investigator.

After that I came home and went to sleep.

And then monday was here, all too soon...
